Review: Phenomenal X

Phenomenal X
Phenomenal X by Michelle A. Valentine

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Oh Em Gee--- what??.. when??...where??..but...how??? NOOOOOO!!!! ----> what have you done to me Michelle Valentine??? You have left me hanging.... when does the next book come out???

Yep, X leaves us on a cliffhanger... you are left panting for more.

Phenomenal X--no words are adequate. He is delicious. Broody, Bad Boy, Arrogant, and thinks he is all that and a bag of chips. The kind of man that you want, and then hate yourself for wanting him. And he is used to getting his way...until Anna. X is a professional wrestler, used to adoring fans and the attention of gorgeous women... and Anna has no idea who he is.

A chance encounter has their paths crossing. Fate, is what most would call it. But when all of X's normal moves don't get him the results he wants, challenge accepted.

Anna is running from a life she doesn't want. Looking for a fresh start, she never expected the complication known as Phenomenal X. But she finds herself more and more drawn to him. And as he respects her boundaries and offer of friendship, the two of them begin to forge their own path.

I loved this story. I loved the unlikely friendship that we get to see bloom into something more. X was a totally unexpected leading man. You get an impression of him, and then his actions blow all your thoughts right out of the water. And I loved that you get to see so many different sides of him. He has many guarded secrets, and you itch to find out what they are. And you get little bits and pieces throughout the story, but just enough to make you want to know more. And Anna has a past of her own. One she is running from. But the past always catches up....

Then right when it starts really getting good... you find your jaw on the floor and you need help picking it up. I literally kept tapping my kindle hoping more pages would magically appear... *sigh* alas, that didn't happen. Now Iam left wondering what in the world?????

Next book please.......
