Review: Until Nico

Until Nico
Until Nico by Aurora Rose Reynolds

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Just OMG... where do I even start??

I have loved this series since I read Until November, and none of them have disappointed, but Nico has taken things to a whole new level and is by far my favorite of all the Mayson boys.

Nico is a tattooed, pierced, dirty talking, bad boy, bounty hunter, that is living his life to the fullest. No commitments, no promises, just a bit of fun. He is constantly traveling as he chases the bad guys, and rings everything out of life that he can. Then he meets Sophie... and everything changes.

Sophie is a conservative, prim and proper, sophisticated librarian. She is painfully shy and keeps to herself. Outside of a few close friends, she is basically a loner. She has no desire to date, and no need for a man to complicate her carefully organized life.... Until Nico.

I LOVED Nico. LOVED! He is cocky and arrogant, pushy and bossy. He knows what he wants, and he wants Sophie. I have to admit, I was floored at the way he went about making Sophie his. His unconventional ways and determination, mixed with patience you would never expect, had me swooning and day dreaming. I literally felt the need to stick my head in the freezer to cool off on more than one occasion as I was reading. And it's been a while since it's happened, but I read Nico in one sitting. I totally could not put it down and wanted to cry at the unfairness when I flipped the last page. I never wanted Nico to end. And I am left with a big ole Nico hangover, that makes me feel sorry for who ever comes behind him, because Iam afraid, no one is going to be able to match him.

I know that it sounds like the cliche "bad boy meets good girl" romantic read, but I never had that feeling. I never felt like I had read the story before or that it was just another in a long line of one in the same. There was more than one surprise thrown in, and of coarse, the mayhem that comes along with being part of the Mayson family.

And I have to say, Iam more than thrilled that it has been announced that Assumption (Kenton's story) will be out in August and Iam looking forward to the spin off series. To make me even happier, the ending is written in a way that hints at another spin off that will keep the Mayson brothers and all of their macho, bosyy, alpha goodness, written in the words of a great book. And I can not wait to see what the author does with carrot that she dangled as she wrapped up Nico and Sophie's story. Can. Not. Wait!

If you have not yet met Nico.. what are you waiting for? Seriously, stop reading this review and get to one clicking!!!!

Although Nico could be read as a stand alone, why punish yourself?? Make sure you check out the other brothers- you will not be disappointed and it will be well worth the time and money...

My only complaint about Nico, is that it ended. I sat staring at the last page willing more words to spring forth so that I didnt have to say goodbye---- *sigh*

Parting is such sweet sorrow......
