Review: Deliverance for Amelia

Deliverance for Amelia Deliverance for Amelia by Bonny Capps
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OMG.... what in the world did I read??? This is by far one of the most twisted stories Ive ever read. Freaky is an understatement -- and I LOVED every minute of it.

This is one of those books that makes you wonder where the author came up with this stuff and whether or not they have gotten away with hiding bodies in their backyards. Seriously --- you can't tell me you've never wondered....

Moving on... where do I go with this?? Im not sure I can even do this book justice. Or without giving the whole thing away.

This was a face paced, cant read it quick enough, what is going to happen next, where in the world did that come from, look out because a curve ball just came out of left field book. Yes, that was a mouthful. But it describes how I felt as I was reading. It was one that kept me up all night reading, and one night I got an hour of sleep because I had to know how it ended. And oh what an ending it was.

Nothing goes the way you think it is going to. Gabe is a complete sadist who gets off on blood and gore. And Im warning you, take the warning from the author seriously. VERY VERY seriously. I actually couldnt be in the dark for days after I finished reading this one, and would get a little paranoid sitting on my back porch at night smoking a cigarette. Yes, PLEASE, take warning serious. If you cant handle blood, gore, and dark twisted stuff, this is not the book for you.

Amelia was an amazing heroine, with strength and self perseverance that I envied. She had an unbelievable will to live. And where I would of given up, she kept on going, looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. Does she find the light??? Welp, you just have to read to find out. But I will tell you, this book does not have your traditional HEA, which was one of the things I loved the best about the book.

Gabe is book 2 in this series. I recommend you read it too..... but that is a different review.
